Return Policy: The Lourdes Center guarantees a full refund policy. Please e-mail the Lourdes Center for a refund and include your name, address order, and donation amount. A full refund will be provided within two weeks. Lourdes Water does not have to be returned to receive a refund.
Shipping Policy: All Lourdes Center orders are mailed 1st Class with United States Post Office. Orders are processed the day they are received, and mailed within three business days. United States Post Office Priority mail is used for orders of six or more bottles of Lourdes Water.
 Lourdes Water is water that comes from the miraculous spring at the Shrine of Lourdes in Southern France. This spring gushed forth “miraculously” on February 25th, 1858 when Bernadette, at Our Lady’s bidding, scratched the soil on which she was kneeling. Since then the water from this spring has been instrumental in granting countless miraculous cures and is known the world over as Lourdes Water. Today, the Church has officially recognized 66 miracles out of 7,000 declared cures at the Medical Bureau in Lourdes.
Lourdes Water is not for sale. Anyone visiting Lourdes in France may get it for free. The water itself is still free, but the cost of handling and handling from France to the Lourdes Center in Boston, and the cost handling and mailing from the Lourdes Center to those requesting it must be defrayed.
To help defray the cost for shipping, handling and postage, the Lourdes Center suggests a $3.00 offering for each bottle requested. “Bottles” of Lourdes Water are shipped in 1.25 once plastic containers.
How to Use Lourdes Water & What Prayers to Say
Lourdes Water is not Holy Water, neither is it a medicine or something supernatural, but Our Lady has granted special favors with its use. It is object of faith meant to encourage our prayers and good works. Bernadette drank the water and washed her face with it.
Most people apply Lourdes Water to a diseased or suffering part of their body, or simply just drink the water. No harmful effect ever resulted from drinking the water or washing with it. On the contrary, many of the sick have often experienced relief and even miraculous cures.
No special prayers are required, but we do recommend the Lourdes Prayers.
